feed blog numero dos

yes! the second blog about this wonderful book.

Violet's "project" is to resist the feed. Her willingness to try something like this shows that she is rebellious and still has the ability to think for herself and make her own decisions. Unlike our other friends in the book, who obey whatever this piece of technology says. Also unlike the other characters, Violet has the ability to live a normal happy life without the feed telling her what to do. But unfortunately, everything in her body is controlled by the feed. So she can't totally detach herself from it. So technically, the feed could be considered some sort of major organ like the heart, brain, lungs, ect. Which leads to the quote "like if you carried your lungs in a suitcase and opened it to breathe."

This just proves that the feed is the leader of all functions. Like seriously, errything (yeah, I know there's a v in there, I just chose to not use it.) The feed to our futuristic friends is mandatory. I mean, it would be sooo challenging to think for themselves and shop on their own right? Wow. It's pathetic. That has to be one of the stupidest ideas since online shopping, aka the good 'ole ebay.

And the feed doesn't really know what you need before you realize it. The feed tells you that you need it. Even though you don't. Consumerism! Brain-washing! AHHH! The feed is run by the corporations. The big bad-ass corporations need money. They get money by people buying their products. They have the power to tell people what they should buy, what the need to buy, and what they "need" to buy. SO. The feed doesn't really give the consumer and acurate description of what they need. They just tell the person what they should buy so the corporations can get mo' money. It's complete bullshit. But it's not much different from what's going on in our world.
